This painting is part of the "Hawaii" series. The fluted bell shape flower with layers of different shades of white gave the illusion of it being fragile. The orchid shines like a star in the rain forest greenery. Orchids have a magical spirit to them.

This painting is part of the "Hawaii" series. These orchids entwine themselves unto trees. I loved the earth colour of the flowers and the way they became part of the forest. The spiritual notion of "oneness" is symbolized here.
