This painting came from a meditation. I feel that we all experience situations that are set back in time. I was brought back in time to Egypt through a meditation. The journey is expressed in this painting

Emergence, Mixed Media Size - 36"x36"
This painting represents the idea of changing one's consciousness from a duality thought of mine to one of unity. There are shards of mylar strips, that come out of the canvas. This represents the idea of emerging from a cacoun, like a butterfly would. The beauty and freedom of thought that one does experience when we choose to live in the light is represented by the vivid colours. A glaze with gold highlights symbolizes the light. Currently this painting is hung at the Guelph Wellington Aids Assoc.
